Speaking of Jet-Lag
Well, like I mentioned yesterday, jet-lag sucks.
Megan woke up for 3 hours or so this morning, and I woke up around 6. After flopping around for nearly an hour I got up, grabbed a couple croissants and a coffee from a McDonalds cafe and now I’m here playing with my shiny new MacBook Pro. (Have I mentioned how much I love this computer?) I left Megan one of the croissants and a note, hopefully she sees it when she wakes up….
Anyways, about the only thing on our to-do list today is the SWAP/USIT orientation at 11. Tomorrow we’re off on the train to Cork and then you have about as much an idea as I do. We’ll probably go hit up the Guinness Factory today, possibly a couple other touristy sites, possibly buy cell phones and potentially try to open a bank account. Based on my experience in Scotland (circa 2005), the people we’ll meet at the orientation will have a lot to do with how our day turns out.
Now I’m going to pull some of the pictures off our camera and upload them to Flickr. We forgot the camera while riding the hop-on-hop-off bus yesterday, but remembered it later in the day. Prepare for a random photo-post later!
