Our Passports, visa applications and a whole lot of other paperwork are in an envelope on their way to Ottawa, with a brief stopover in Toronto.  Assuming everything goes well, we’ll have the passports back with a shiny Irish work visa somewhere inside them.

We’re planning on heading back to Edmonton around August 21st, and taking off to Ireland the week after. That’s about as detailed as we get right now, but we’ve made some good headway on taking care of the long list of things we need to get done before we go.

For now, we’re just excited to have the most important part of the trip (the Visa) on it’s way to being done. David at SWAP has been great.
