Happy Pre-Anniversary!
Mark your calendars! (Why aren’t they marked already??) One year to go until the party of the century! Also until we get to be married and all the wonderful things that entails.
It’s been a pretty crazy month. I’m actually taking five classes this summer, instead of the three I’d sort of planned on. But now I (mostly) understand why I got the transfer I did at UBC-O, and if all goes well I will graduate in April and not have to deal with school anymore! And for reference, never ever try to transfer a diploma to UBC.
I will be done my first class on Monday, and am about halfway through two more. Those two are computer-managed courses, so starting next week I should have a bit more flexibility. They should be done by halfway through June, and then I have one 3-week class in July and one distance course that I’m supposed to be fitting in there somewhere. Barring any disasters, I will be done before August and be able to enjoy my trip to Scotland with Mom and Andrew!
With the bit of flexibility I get due to computer and distance courses, I should be able to get some more wedding planning done in June and July as well. Like dress shopping! I did get the bridesmaid dresses sorted out this month, because my two bridesmaids are wonderful people, awesomely easy to work with, not picky and, well, I have good taste.
Chris is surviving in Kelowna… sad and alone without me, of course, but surviving through a combination of a lot of work, sailing, and cool friends. Hopefully I’ll be able to get out there sometime soon. Being apart sucks.
We really aren’t doing too well at keeping this blog going, but I’m not sure if many people are reading it either. It’s kind of a circular thing… maybe if we tell more people about it, we’ll write more. Maybe if we write more, we’ll be more inclined to encourage people to come! So, tell your friends, and I will make a solid effort to keep posting when exciting things happen.
For now, I will go find a bus that will take me home so I can study more and then go be in a fashion show tonight. Yeah, I’m famous.
Love,
Megan
