Megan and Chris

As you can see if you’re actually visiting the site, we’ve been playing with the theme and layout. I was inspired by Kristen and Greg’s website to make ours more esthetically appealing and user-friendly. I’m a fan of this theme, but there’s still some tweaking that needs to be done. And I’m definitely not an HTML genius so therefore, really have no idea how to do said tweaking. Hopefully Chris and I can figure it out together. If not, we have an abundance of technically savvy friends we can call on! (We love you!)While I’m here I might as well update you all as to what’s new. Not a whole lot… Chris is loving his new job. I’m getting through school and practicum with minimal stress. Spring has definitely sprung in this part of the country – there’s very little snow left in town, and it’s actually sunny more than cloudy – a complete reversal of the winter. There’s still a pretty decent amount of snow up at Big white so we’re mating some efforts to get out there before the season ends. I feel like I haven’t been out enough. I’m not sure I should be saying this, but I actually wish winter would hold out a bit longer!

We’re planning on coming home over the Easter weekend. Chris has to head back to work on Monday, but I’m sticking around til Wednesday afternoon. We’re hoping to get a little further on picking a photographer by meeting with a couple while we’re home. We’ve narrowed down our list of 15 to about 6 – progress is being made! We’ve also found a photographer here who is looking to build up his portfolio and has offered to do a free engagement photo session, probably around the end of this month.

I’m also formalizing plans to come home for the summer. I have three classes to take; one by distance through TRU in Kamloops, and the other two probably through Grant MacEwan. The two I’m looking at are 3-week courses, so I should be done by June. That leaves July for work and intensive wedding planning, and August for Scotland! I’m still not sure how the employment thing will work out for the summer… if anyone has a brilliant lead for a fairly flexible summer job, let me know!
