Hey Y’all,

Just a quick shout-out to our friends Carolyn and Brian. Carolyn sent us a list of wedding venues they were thinking about…..it was 7 pages long! You rock!

Well, I just followed the link Chris sent me, and here I am on a page that says “Write Post” on big letters at the top. Who am I to argue with instructions?

So. Check that out, we have a website. I think it’s pretty awesome. Where do I start? What do I write? I’m feeling the pressure already!

Um… wedding details? There aren’t many yet. Let’s make the official online announcement then; we will be getting married at Holy Family Parish on May 23, 2009. I hear there’s a party. You should all come.

We’re hoping (okay, maybe I’m hoping and Chris is just nice enough not to shoot me down) to do some venue-shopping when we’re home in November. I already have a whole lot of stuff I want to do that weekend, not least is seeing all of you wonderful people. I’m totally going to run out of time to do everything. I vote for an extended holiday from school. Do you think they’ll accept wedding planning as an excusable absence?

Speaking of school, I have a whole lot of homework that has piled up recently. I’m going to make a halfhearted effort at that now. So, um, comment lots so that we have incentive to write more.
